Job Summary
Work side by side with Human Resource Lead with day-to-day HR and Administration tasks. Support in critical HR functions and workforce management tasks such as: recruitment, employee/labor relations, health and safety, compensation, benefits, training, diversity, and employee engagement.
Perform translation work, written and verbal (English/Japanese).
This is a first shift position with the hours from 7 am to 4 pm Mon-Fri.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED)
Technical Skills- must have
· Ability to speak, write, and translate English/Japanese is a must
· Strong communication skills (English and Japanese)
· Knowledge in HR is a plus, but not required
Roles and Responsibilities
English/Japanese translation
· Interpret and Translate (verbal and written) messages simultaneously or consecutively into Japanese/English languages maintaining message content, context, and style as much as possible
· Supporting our Japanese advisor with relocation onboarding (banking, housing, SSA, driver license, etc.), and offboarding
Administration Task
· Maintaining all office and safety supply ordering and inventory
· Travel arrangements/reservations (car, hotel, flights)
· Managing phone calls/and front desk
· Arrange company functions (luncheons, snack day, outings)
HR Task
· Making sure company policies are adhered to
· Promoting company culture by incorporating company philosophy to build success
· Handle employee consultations and complaints
· Conduct new hire orientation and regular skill enhancement training programs
· Complete safety audits to ensure compliance, and support safety committee
· Manage time and attendance, payroll, and employee records.
· Facilitates and communicates organizational policies and programs while ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
· Provides HR support and collaboration to business units and department Management
· All other related HR Task as needed
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
