Job Summary
Directly manage and coordinate the activities of wiring, installation, and repairs. Traveling is required to support onsite customers (locally, domestically, and internationally). This is a first shift position with the hours from 7 am to 4 pm Mon-Fri. Overtime and weekend work may be required on occasion.
Education and Experience
High School Diploma - or the equivalent (for example, GED)
5 years of electrical background experience
Technical Skills- must have
- Ability to read Schematics
- Hand and power tools
- Knowledge of JIG/Fixture/Material Handling/Automation machine wiring techniques
- Wiring techniques for automation systems (machine, communications, and power)
- Input/Output verification
- Problem solving
Roles and Responsibilities
- Monitor daily goals for wiring progress such as insufficient manpower and project schedule changes.
- Hands on wiring work alongside wiring technicians to do wiring JIG/Fixture/Material Handling/Automation machine, build wiring panels, and junction box.
- Correct hard wiring and network errors based on electrical schematics.
- Prepare materials for wiring work by making sure inventory for wiring materials and control components are available.
- Communicate with all departments, mainly Control Engineers, Assembly, and Sales to adjust schedule and workload.
- Review the department wiring schedule and set daily goals for the team.
- Manage electrical work/processes onsite and at customers facility.
- Manage wiring technicians and subcontractors onsite and at customers facility.
- Backup for department Manager as needed.

Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
