Job Title: Injection Mold Assembly Technician

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Injection Mold Assembly Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling, disassembling, and maintaining injection molds to ensure optimal performance and quality in our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities:

• Assemble and disassemble injection molds according to specifications and production schedules.
• Inspect, clean, and maintain mold components to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Identify and troubleshoot issues related to mold performance and implement corrective actions.
• Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize mold designs and functionality.
• Maintain accurate records of mold maintenance and repairs.

Requirements:

• Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience in injection mold assembly or related field.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience with precision measuring instruments and tools.
• Strong mechanical aptitude with attention to detail.
• Certifications: Mold Technician Certification or equivalent is a plus.
• Soft Skills:
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with CAD software for mold design and modifications.
• Knowledge of industry safety standards and protocols.
• Prior experience in a manufacturing environment with a focus on quality assurance.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to lift and move heavy mold components as needed.
• Comfortable working in a manufacturing setting with exposure to machinery and equipment.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 per week
