PERFORMANCE REQUIREMENTS: 1. Promote the learning and growth of all students and the success of all staff by ensuring a safe, efficient, and effective learning environment, using resources to implement appropriate curriculum, staffing, and scheduling.a) Assist the principal in developing and executing effective plans, procedures, and routines and operational systems to address a full range of safety, discipline, health, attendance, and emotional and social needs of students. - Develop, implement and assist in maintaining a consistent discipline policy throughout the student body; deal with special cases as necessary. - Assist the principal with managing the daily issuance of detentions, in school and out of school suspensions for disciplinary and/or attendance policy violations.
- Ensure appropriate supervision of ancillary services, including lunches, health and safety programs and after school activities. - Oversee the arrival and dismissal of students.b) Assist the principal in implementing a cohesive approach to recruitment, hiring, induction, development, and career growth that promotes high-quality and effective practice.2. Promotes the learning and growth of all students and the success of all staff through effective partnerships with families, community organizations, and other stakeholders that support the mission of the school and district.a) Actively ensure that all families are welcome members of the classroom and school community and can contribute to the classroom, school, and communitys effectiveness.b) Collaborate with families to support student learning and development both at home and at school.c) Engage in regular, two-way, culturally proficient communication with families about student learning and performance.d) Address family concerns in an equitable, effective, and efficient manner.3.
