- Set and achieve aggressive growth targets for Sales teams
- Provide leadership to Regional Sales leaders and Sales Representatives in the field
- Identify opportunities and build the commercial strategy required to grow in existing and new vertical markets with Holcim product lines.
- Develop/have a deep understanding of the full Duro-Last product portfolio as well as manufacturing, and R&D capabilities. Work with Marketing teams to create streamlined materials that highlight our broad offering.
- Collaborate with product management/ VP Technology to develop and drive new product pipelines and provide feedback regarding opportunities, customer needs and competitive products.
- Develop and execute a strategy to drive specifications.
- Establish self/team as key relationship manager for key accounts (owners/contractors/customers) and distributors representing all business lines.
- Develop reporting tools that document growth and success of efforts.
- Work with the government affairs team to identify and drive opportunities for our solutions through government programs and/or grants.
- Work with product management and marketing to develop the marketing tools needed for cross selling.
- Possess and model high drive for developing internal business partnerships.
- Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills including the ability to clearly present recommendations and summarize complex issues in a clear and concise format (PowerPoint or similar).
- Exceptional leadership abilities and experience in people management
- Experience and ability to work in a matrix organization, build strong relationships and lead through impact and influence.
- Ability to perform financial modeling and build business cases.
- Business manager mindset with drive for continuous improvement and growth
- Strategic thinker with ability to adapt to fast paced and changing environments and work effectively across all business lines.
- Ability to lead and develop teams and future leaders with emphasis on formalizing development plans for high-potential performers in areas of direct responsibility
- Strong knowledge of commercial building industry a plus
Preferred Educational and/or Work Experience:
- 10 years in Professional Experience Required
- Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Deep knowledge of the construction industry, the stakeholders and markets.
- 8 years B2B / building products, manufacturing industry experience preferred
