Job Description : It is the responsibility of the Crisis Specialist to conduct phone and mobile crisis services, including triage assessment and crisis interventions.
Schedule Details : Full Time - Weekdays / Weekends 11 pm-7 am
Location : Exton, PA
Program : Valley Creek Crisis Center
Job duties :
Conduct effective crisis assessments, triage, and stabilization
Provide clinical level-of-care evaluations
Conduct telephone crisis counseling to determine appropriate interventions
Participate in mobile outreach in a variety of community settings
Conduct appropriate aftercare follow-up contacts
Collaborate with community partners
Provide service referrals and linkage as clinically appropriate
Maintain quality documentation of clinical service delivery
Provide timely supporting documentation for all clinical services provided
Minimum Requirements :
Experience and / or Education :
Bachelor’s Degree with Major coursework in Social Sciences or a related field
High School Diploma or Equivalency
3 Years of Mental Health Direct Care Experience
Licensure / Certifications : None required
Clearances : Pennsylvania Act 33 & 34 clearance. Verification that the employee is not on any Medicaid / Medicare Exclusion list
Note : At the discretion of the Personnel Officer, additional related experience and / or education may be substituted instead of the requirements specified under Education and Experience
