Job Summary
HOLCOMBE DOORS AND WINDOWS is looking for a warehouse assistant/driver. Must be able to drive a non CDL delivery box manual truck, fork lift and truck with goose neck 30 foot trailer with 3 years experience. HEAVY LIFTING REQUIRED, KNOWLEDGE OF MILLWORK AND TRIM CARPENTRY A MUST. Clean MVR record, background check required. Will be receiving millwork products (windows, doors, wood trim) which includes checking paperwork, manual labor and scheduling deliveries of products to job site. Organization of warehouse and products will be required.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a box truck for deliveries and pickups, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.
- Load and unload products using appropriate equipment.
- Ensure that all deliveries are made on time and in excellent condition, providing outstanding customer service at each stop.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure safety and reliability.
- Communicate effectively with warehouse staff and salesmen to coordinate deliveries and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Assist in warehouse operations as needed, including inventory management and organization of stock.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
