Warehouse Receiving Associate

Holdahl Company - a Division of Würth Baer Supply Company, one of the nation's premier distributors to of specialty cabinetry supplies, is seeking a reliable and responsible Warehouse Receiving Associate to support our Pleasant Hill, IA facility.

Location: 5650 Metro E Dr, Pleasant Hill, IA 50327

Hours: Monday-Friday 8:00am-4:30pm CT

Compensation: You will have the opportunity to share your desired hourly payrate in the questionnaire when you submit your job application.

Key Responsibilities:

• Receiving & Verifying Inbound Orders: Accurately receive and inspect all incoming shipments to ensure the correct products are delivered. Verify the quantities and condition of materials against purchase orders and shipping documents.
• Unload Shipments: Safely and efficiently unload tractor trailers using a sit-down forklift and pallet jack to handle large and heavy items.
• Inventory Integration: Enter all received materials into our inventory management system (SAP) using T-Codes to accurately track product movement and update stock levels.
• Stocking & Organizing Materials: Put away and stock materials in their designated warehouse locations, ensuring that items are stored properly for easy access and organization.
• Quality Control: Inspect materials for damage during unloading and notify the appropriate personnel about discrepancies, damaged goods, or incorrect shipments.
• Collaborate with Teams: Work closely with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and inventory managers to ensure smooth operations and timely processing of materials.
• Maintain a Clean & Organized Workspace: Keep work areas safe, clean, and organized, adhering to warehouse safety standards.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Education: High school diploma or GED is required.
• Experience: At least 2 years of warehouse experience in a receiving role, with similar duties such as material handling and inventory management.
• Forklift Experience: Must have prior experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Cherry Picker (Order Picker with Harness) Experience: Experience using this type of material handling vehicle is strongly preferred so you can put away materials.
• Technical Proficiency: Basic computer skills, including experience with warehouse management software (SAP experience is preferred but not required).
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with teammates and supervisors.
• Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail to ensure the accuracy of inventory records and the quality of received materials.
