Overview
The Marina Dock Hand plays a crucial role in the daily operations of our marina, ensuring that all docking activities run smoothly and efficiently. This position involves working outdoors in a dynamic environment, assisting boaters with their needs, and maintaining the marina facilities. Ideal candidates will have experience with docking boats (but willing tho train the right individuals), making them well-suited to support our team in providing exceptional service to our customers.
Duties
- Assist boaters with docking and undocking procedures, ensuring safety and efficiency
- Assist forklift operator with loading and unloading boats
- Maintain cleanliness of the dock area and yard, including waste disposal and general upkeep.
- Wash, clean, and detail boats
- Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting patrons with their boating needs.
Qualifications
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions for extended periods.
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with customers and team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
- Previous experience in a marina or similar environment is a plus but not mandatory.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 42 per week
