Position: Automotive Service Advisor

Location: Kingman, AZ
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year

Key Responsibilities:

• Performance: Drive exceptional results as an Automotive Advisor by delivering confident, knowledgeable, and solutions-oriented service in a fast-paced environment. Excel at building trust through positive and professional communication while meeting and exceeding performance targets. Demonstrate superior customer service by addressing client needs promptly, providing expert advice, and ensuring an outstanding service experience that fosters loyalty and repeat business.
• Customer Interaction: Serve as the first point of contact for customers, greeting them with a friendly demeanor and creating a welcoming atmosphere. Listen actively to customers' concerns and accurately document their vehicle issues.
• Service Coordination: Communicate clearly with our technical team to translate customer concerns into actionable service tasks. Ensure that all customer requests and vehicle symptoms are relayed effectively to technicians.
• Service Recommendations: Provide detailed explanations of recommended maintenance and repair services to customers, emphasizing the importance and benefits of the services. Build trust by offering honest and transparent advice.
• Appointment Management: Schedule and coordinate customer appointments, ensuring efficient workflow and minimal wait times. Keep customers informed of their vehicle's progress and estimated completion times.
• Customer Satisfaction: Follow up with customers after service to ensure satisfaction, address any concerns, and build long-term relationships. Strive to achieve high customer satisfaction ratings and repeat business.
• Maintenance Advisement: Proactively remind customers of routine maintenance needs based on their vehicle’s service history and manufacturer recommendations. Help customers plan for upcoming service needs.
• Stay Updated: Keep abreast of the latest automotive technologies, service techniques, and trends to provide knowledgeable and current advice to customers. Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Sales: Identify opportunities to provide additional services and products that benefit the customer and their vehicle, increasing revenue while maintaining customer trust and satisfaction.

Qualifications:

• Detailed high performance experience as an Automotive Service Advisor is critical for rapid success.
• Excellent communication skills—able to articulate technical information in a way that’s easy for customers to understand.
• Friendly, approachable, and capable of building rapport with a diverse customer base.
• Tech-savvy, comfortable using digital tools and automotive diagnostic software.
• Passion for cars and eagerness to learn about the latest automotive trends and technologies.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to stay calm and professional under pressure, handling customer concerns with patience and care.
