What are the responsibilities and job description for the Purchasing Clerk - Part Time position at Holdenville Hospital Authority?
This position assists in providing supplies and equipment in an efficient manner, in accordance with current applicable company policy and procedure, and as directed by department supervisor. The Central Supply Clerk will work cooperatively with all departments and multidisciplinary teams.
Role and Responsibilities
- Ensures all purchase orders are properly prepared, signed, and submitted.
- Confirms invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips when merchandise arrives.
- Tracks inventory.
- Organizes storage and delivers supplies.
- Notifies departments when special orders have arrived.
- Delivers emergency supplies and equipment as needed.
- Ensures supply and storage room is safe, neat, and free of hazards.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
