Carpenter Job Description

Holder Construction is seeking skilled Carpenters for our project located in Reno, Nevada. As a Carpenter, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and quality of our construction sites.

Job Responsibilities:

• Construct and maintain handrails and hole protection, steps, and gang ladders
• Install temporary weather enclosures and protection
• Sawing, stripping, nailing, burning, measuring, tightening/loosening bolts, drilling, and other duties as assigned by supervisor

Requirements:

• 3 years of construction experience
• Ability to read basic drawings
• Training on construction safety protocols (OSHA 10, fall protection, mobile elevated platform)

Working Conditions:

As a Carpenter, you must be able to work in an OSHA-compliant safety environment, both indoors and outdoors. You will need to stand or walk for long periods, use your hands and arms to reach, handle, and manipulate objects, and climb ladders and scaffolds. The ability to lift and carry materials weighing 50-100 pounds is also required.
