We are seeking an Alarm System Technician to join our team! You will install and repair alarm wiring and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Customer Service - This is the most important aspect of what we provide our clients. You must be personable, well groomed, articulate and ready to provide exceptional customer service.
- Install and program new alarm and security systems
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues with alarms and security systems
- Identify risk to customers and provide effective solutions
- Conduct routine preventative maintenance on alarm systems
- Monitor inventory of service parts
- Inspection of security and fire alarm systems, service and diagnosis of issues, installation of parts.
- Prepares accurate service paperwork for installations and service jobs.
- Maintain a clean work vehicle and a clean work area while on jobs.
- Read and interpret manuals.
- Ability to utilize a variety of hand tools, power tools.
- We use scissor lifts. You must be ok with heights and operating machinery.
- Ability to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions such as climbing ladders, crawl spaces, attics.
- Must have a clean driving record and valid Colorado drivers license
- Participates in on-call rotation.
- Ability to to work in teams or independent of the team.
- Must have no lifting restrictions and able to lift 50lbs minimum.
- Strong time management skills.
- Performs duties as assigned.
- Ability to adhere to code, company standards and requirements.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in security installation, maintenance, or other related fields. If you are experienced in another trade like HVAC, Electrical, etc., we will train the right person
- Must consent to pre-employment background check and drug screening.
- Experience with burglar alarm installation and programming
- Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Bosch/Radionics certification or experience is a plus.
- OSHA 10/30 card - We will help you earn this if you do not have one)
- Applicant provides their own hand tools and power tools. We will supply some specialty tools.
- Flexible schedule is required; Some nights and weekend are required depending upon the projects assigned.
- Willingness to learn other skill sets and product lines.
- Basic Computer Knowledge.
Office is located in Broomfield Colorado. A reasonable commuting distance to our office is required.
Salary : $18 - $25
