Job Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Temporary Visual Merchandiser to join our team. This role will focus on organizing and setting up products for our showroom and photography displays, ensuring that all products are presented cohesively and in alignment with our brand’s aesthetic. You will work closely with the Product Development, Photography, Sales, and Marketing teams to create visually appealing, on-brand displays. In addition, you will be responsible for managing visual merchandising assets, creatively styling mannequins, and handling inventory management of display materials.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Showroom Product Setup
- Organize and arrange products according to visual merchandising guidelines, ensuring displays are attractive and aligned with seasonal themes.
- Plan and execute seasonal changes in the showroom.
- Select and gather appropriate display assets (baskets, trays, mannequins, etc.) from inventory, ensuring they are ready for use in displays.
- Fold and arrange products on tables in addition to styling mannequins, ensuring a clean and polished presentation.
Photography Display Setup
- Collaborate with the photography team to create engaging displays for photo shoots.
- Adjust props, positioning, and product placement for optimal presentation on camera.
- Style mannequins and dress forms in a unique and creative way to enhance product presentation and highlight key features.
Collaboration & Communication
- Work closely with Product Development, Marketing, Sales, and Photography teams to ensure brand alignment in all displays.
- Adapt displays quickly to meet changing priorities or requests.
Inventory & Product Knowledge
- Manage showroom and visual merchandising inventory, ensuring display assets are correctly labeled, organized, and stored.
- Select and maintain a stock of high-quality visual merchandising materials (e.g., baskets, trays, mannequins, props).
- Develop a deep understanding of the products to effectively highlight their features in displays.
Maintenance & Cleanliness
- Ensure all display areas remain organized, clean, and presentable, both for showroom visitors and photoshoots.
- Conduct regular inventory checks and track the condition of display materials.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in visual merchandising, retail, or a related field is preferred.
- Strong aesthetic and design sensibility, with an eye for detail.
- Experience styling dress forms, mannequins, and other display assets creatively.
- Familiarity with photography setup (lighting, props, staging) is a plus.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to deadlines.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills and team collaboration.
- Flexible and creative, with the ability to adapt to changing needs.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and move products, props, and fixtures.
- Ability to stand, walk, and kneel for extended periods during display setup.
