What are the responsibilities and job description for the SummerEscape Counselor position at Holderness Recreation Department?
We are looking to build a dynamic team for our 202 SummerEscape program. We are looking for responsible, energetic, hardworking leaders who enjoy working with children ages 5 – 12.

SummerEscape Counselors
Our counselors are the backbone of our program. They are the reason that parents and children come back to our program year after year. This is a hard job, but also a highly rewarding one that will build your resume, teach you life skills and open opportunities.
Preferred candidates will be 16 , CPR and First Aid certified or willing to become certified.
Duties will include but not be limited to supervising and ensuring participants safety and fun, greeting parents and participants, setting up for and leading group activities, communicating with SummerEscape Director, problem solving, checking attendance, working with other counselors and / or jr. counselors, cleaning and more.
Program dates are tentatively June 23rd to August 11th. Exact dates are dependent on the last day of school. Program runs Monday – Friday 8—4:30pm. Tentative training dates are June 18th to June 20th.
Counselor positions are between 16 – 40 hours per week. $11—$16/hr
