Applicants must be comfortable with tasks that change daily and not afraid to get their hands dirty when the time comes. We are looking to add staff tour our new gummy manufacturing line.
- Purpose of Role
This role is a multi-purpose process position in the manufacturing of gummy candies that can be process specific but also able rotate to all areas of processing as properly trained within a particular shift reporting to the shift managers. The primary responsibility for this position is to perform all functions associated with the manufacturing roles including but not limited to weighing ingredients, running production line, picking gummies, sugaring and packaging gummies
Principal Accountabilities
Ingredient Room:
- Schedule and batch weigh ingredient for our production lots
- Develop and maintain proficiency in inventory management systems and other business systems as needed to ensure accurate reporting
- Demonstrate the ability to accurately perform quality checks and complete documentation without error
- Maintain a safe and clean work area
- Performs all assigned activities and job tasks within a line or area
Gummy Production and Copacking (tasks depend on position hired) :
- Operating gummy manufacturing line
- Mixing raw ingredients to be used on the gummy line
- Unloading full trays of gummies and loading empty trays of gummies
- Picking defect gummies off the line
- Sugaring and co-packing gummies
- Assist in general maintenance and cleaning of the manufacturing line and area around.
- Other Duties as assigned by the line manager
Key Functional Skills/Knowledge
- Food manufacturing experience and knowledge of food safety, Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices and statistical Process Control
- Team player, Action oriented, Problem solving abilities, Strong communication skills, Continuous self-development
- Bending, stooping, twist, turn, standing for extended time periods, reaching, climbing stairs, and lifting up to 55 lbs.
- Must be able to adapt to temperature and environmental such as hot to cold
Minimum Qualifications:
- Be 18 years of age or older
- Must be willing and able to work and accept varying shifts and schedules
- Ability to read and understand the daily production run schedule, and execute to that plan
- Ability to communicate to managers and team members any production, quality/food safety or other business critical information vital to operations and customer service
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $13.50 - $14.50 per hour
Schedule:
- 10 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Little Rock, AR 72204: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Preferred)
