A Day in the life of a BCBA
Assessment and Analysis : Conduct functional behavior assessments and skill assessments to develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans tailored to each client's unique needs.Implementation and Supervision : Collaborate closely with Behavior Technicians and caregivers to ensure effective implementation of behavior intervention plans and provide ongoing supervision and training to expand your reach.Data Collection and Analysis : Use evidence-based methods to track progress, assess results, and make informed adjustments to interventions based on data analysis.Collaboration and Communication : Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and clinicians, to ensure integrated and holistic care for our clients and their families.Professional Development : Stay current with best practices in behavior analysis and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.Qualifications - What you bring to the table
Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related fieldBoard Certified Behavior AnalystExperience working with children with autism spectrum disordersAdvanced knowledge about autism spectrum disorderLegal authorization to work in the United StatesCPR certification in both pediatrics and adultsValid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insuranceExcellent time management skillsExperience with a variety of assessment tools and report writingBilingual (preferred)Benefits & Perks - What Holding Hands has to offer :
