ROLE DESCRIPTION 
Holding Hands is seeking a full-time Adaptive Skills DIR®/Floortime™ Program Coordinator committed to delivering high-quality services to new regions and markets in the United States. We are looking for a dedicated team player with exceptional leadership and management skills who values diversity, collaboration, contract fulfillment, and a solution-driven mindset. As a Program Coordinator, your primary responsibility will be establishing and leading a team of quality clinicians with varied educational and professional backgrounds to provide Adaptive Skills using the DIR®/Floortime™ modality. You will ensure that each client and their family is treated with respect, compassion, and empathy. Your goal will be to create programming tailored to the client's specific needs while adhering to ethical standards and Holding Hands policies. This position is crucial in providing the highest level of training and quality assurance to the Adaptive Skills DIR®/Floortime™ programs at the assigned clinic. The Adaptive Skills DIR®/Floortime™ Coordinator will oversee developmental interventionists providing parenttraining, intake assessments, and direct sessions. They will provide regular support and training, as well as conduct weekly DIR Training meetings and mentor meetings. This role is integral in ensuring the highest level of programming, parent training, and overall service care delivery for every client and family receiving Adaptive Skills DIR®/Floortime™ services at the local office, making potential candidates feel valued and integral to the organization. This individual will ensure that every report and recommendation follow Holding Hands guidelines for the standard of quality and funding source requirements. They will also ensure that each client receives the total recommended hours within family availability, including parent training and direct sessions, to reach their highest potential and outcomes. The Regional Director will oversee your role as the Program Coordinator. The DIR Clinical Department will provide training, clinical standards, and quality assurance supervision. 

Key Responsibilities
  • Build and lead a team of quality clinicians, recruiting, motivating, and developing internal and external talent in local teams. 
  • Provide clinical and administrative oversight to Developmental Interventionists in the home office and assist them with urgent clinical matters. 
  • Perform quality assurance of clinical treatment plans, client paperwork, reports, sessions, and billing. 
  • Problem-solve and ensure the best possible outcome for all clients, providing appropriate support and guidance for clients displaying regression or a lack of progress. 
  • Collaborate with the Office Manager and Scheduler(s) to ensure clients' schedules meet authorized monthly hours. Develop action plans for reduction, exit, or phase-out when hours do not meet the recommended authorized hours. 
  • Train qualified interventionists to provide parent training and ensure that all parent training is conducted at the highest levels of care. 
  • Complete new hire training for the assigned clinic or regional cohort.  
  • Follow ethical billing policies and guidelines. 
  • Collaborate with the Admissions team and Regional Director regarding the prospect pipeline. 
  • Facilitate timely initiation of new client services and effectively manage the clinic Adaptive Skills DIR®/Floortime™ waitlist. 
  • Assist the recruiting team and collaborate on new hiring needs for the assigned center. 
  • Assist with implementing goals, objectives, policies, and procedures for the center and oversee the center's compliance with legal policies and guidelines. 
  • Support client terminations for the assigned clinic. 
  • Provide ongoing support, mentorship, and performance evaluations for direct reports. 
  • Assist the office manager/scheduler and regional director with employee relations as needed. 
  • Maintain good relationships with the regional center and other funding sources. 

Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field (master’s degree preferred). 
  • Minimum of 3 years of direct experience conducting DIR®/Floortime™ sessions. 
  • Minimum of 2 levels of DIR Certification or willingness to take DIR®/Floortime™ certification courses within the first year. 
  • Ability to exercise sound judgment when making decisions. 
  • Strong leadership and management skills with at least one year of experience. 
  • Excellent customer service skills. 
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills. 
  • Solution-focused problem-solving skills. 
  • Knowledge of clinical field policies and procedures. 
  • Capable of delegating tasks and action items as required. 
  • Compassion for working with a diverse population of clients and staff. 
  • Ability to be empathetic but also firm when needed. 
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills. 
  • Full-time availability (weekend emergency calls as applicable).
