A Day in the life of a BCBA:
- Assessment and Analysis: Conduct functional behavior assessments and skill assessments to develop comprehensive behavior intervention plans tailored to each client's unique needs.
- Implementation and Supervision: Collaborate closely with Behavior Technicians and caregivers to ensure effective implementation of behavior intervention plans and provide ongoing supervision and training to expand your reach.
- Data Collection and Analysis: Use evidence-based methods to track progress, assess results, and make informed adjustments to interventions based on data analysis.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams, including therapists, educators, and clinicians, to ensure integrated and holistic care for our clients and their families.
- Professional Development: Stay current with best practices in behavior analysis and participate in continuing education opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

Compensation: Starting range at $78,000.00 per year plus monthly bonus potential.

Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in Psychology, Special Education, Applied Behavior Analysis, or a related field
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst
- Experience working with children with autism spectrum disorders
- Advanced knowledge about autism spectrum disorder
- Legal authorization to work in the United States
- CPR certification in both pediatrics and adults
- Fully vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 (unless you fall within the medical or religious exemption category)
- Valid California driver's license, reliable transportation, and car insurance
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience with a variety of assessment tools and report writing
- Bilingual (preferred)

- Onboarding requirements leading up to your first day:
- Satisfactory criminal background check (Livescan DOJ & FBI)
- Current TB clearance or TB test scheduled
- Submission of required documents such as driver's license, auto insurance, proof of education and/or existing certifications, & covid vaccination status
- First day and training: Upon joining the Holding Hands team, you will participate in comprehensive in-person training sessions that are designed to be interactive and hands-on. Throughout the training, you will be equipped with a wide array of tools and resources to ensure your success in your role.

Holding Hands was founded in 2003. We currently have 4 clinics based throughout LA County (Burbank, Calabasas, Los Angeles, Whittier) and serve over 1,500 neurodiverse individuals in the home, school, clinic, and community per week. We serve children, teens, and adults with various neurodiverse diagnoses such as Autism Spectrum Disorder, Down Syndrome, ADHD, Cerebral Palsy, Epilepsy, Anxiety, OCD, and related developmental and mental health needs.

With multiple modalities accessible, we can better support our clients and families’ individual needs and provide training opportunities in different modalities. We provide ABA, Social Skills Groups, Modified Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Counseling and DIR®/ Floortime™ We take a person-centered approach and focuses on the child's strengths and individual differences, while developing an intervention plan that addresses his or her unique profile.
