Job Title: Sales Representative
Overview:
The Holganix Midwest team is searching for a Sales Representative to expand our reach and cultivate relationships with growers and agricultural stakeholders. At Holganix, we revolutionize the way the world grows by manufacturing and distributing a liquid microbial solution (think of it as a probiotic for soil) to farmers, landscapers, golf courses, and performance turf users across America and Canada. Our solution dramatically increases soil health, improves crop yield, and reduces the need for additional inputs like fertilizers, pesticides, and water. Additionally, our product significantly enhances carbon sequestration in the soil and helps improve the carbon intensity score of crops.

Job Location: Iowa or Nebraska (Seeking sales representatives in various territories amongst these two states)
Job Description:
- Identify, establish, and maintain relationships with growers within an assigned territory.
- Conduct in field soil testing with Growers to deliver insights and value to customers.
- Update and manage customer information in our CRM tool for better service delivery.
- Collaborate with the logistics team to aid in delivery coordination.
- Participate in soil health tours to educate customers on sustainable practices.
- Support and attend local trade shows and seminars to represent Holganix and foster industry connections.
- Work closely with the data management team to ensure timely data retrieval from customers.
- Engage the teamwork philosophy and embrace the core values of Growth, Trust, Community, Accountability, and Flow at Holganix Midwest.
Job Requirements:
- Degree: Agronomy or other agriculture-related degree preferred
- Communication: Excellent written and oral communication skills; able to present to small and large groups.
- Tech Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
- Farmer Relations: Direct experience working with farmers.
- CRM Experience: Prior experience working with CRM software preferred.
- Travel: Within travel/designated geography.
- Soil Health Knowledge: Familiarity with sustainable farming practices and soil health (preferred but not required).
- License: Valid driver’s license.
