The Village at Holiday Health Care is a privately owned and operated assisted living facility located on the north side of Evansville. We are currently seeking nurses to provide the best quality care to our residents. RN or LPN are applicable.
Position(s): RNs & LPNs
- Day Shift (12 or 8 hour shifts)
- Weekends Only (12 hour shifts)

Qualifications:
- Graduate of an approved school of nursing
- Licensed as an LPN or RN in Indiana
- One year of nursing experience (Preferred)
- Must comply with the standards outlined in the Nurse Practice Act
- Must be able to lift and transfer patients, carry supplies, and read normal typewritten print
- Must be able to work alone without usual support systems immediately available in acute care settings
Responsibilities:
- Provide skilled nursing services in accordance with the orders of a physician and under a plan of care in a patient’s residence. Has the responsibility for the observation, assessment, nursing diagnosis, counsel, care and health teaching of the ill, injured, or confined, and the maintenance of health and prevention of illness of others
- Initiate and/or assist in the Plan of Care, revises as necessary
- Evaluate the effects of the care given and regularly reevaluates the patient’s nursing needs
- Counsel the patient and his/her family in meeting nursing and related needs
- Act as the coordinator of the health care team in order to maintain the proper linkages with a continuum of care
- Oversee the wellness attendant assignment, prepare written instructions for the aide and supervise aide
- Ability to communicate effectively with managers, patients, families and co-workers
