Our Holiday Inn is a full-service hotel that houses Magnolia's Bar & Grill, and offers a large banquet/meeting facility with catering from Magnolia's Bar & Grill, indoor pool, and fitness room.
The pay for a housekeeper will start at $12/hr for individuals who have 2 years of hotel housekeeping experience, and meet other required qualifications (including time per room, and quality of work).
The individual as a housekeeper will be responsible for daily cleaning and servicing hotel guestrooms, and/or public areas, and/or employee areas to the highest standards. Their job duties are critical in the effective maintenance and appearance of the hotel, as cleanliness and attention to details are of the highest priority in the hospitality industry. Effective time management, customer service and carrying out specific duties and requests will be paramount to the success of this position.

Typical Daily Responsibilities of a Housekeeper:
A Housekeeper’s main daily responsibilities are for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service.
As a Housekeeper, you would be responsible for cleaning guest rooms and responding to guest requests in the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
• Clean guest rooms as assigned, including, but not limited to, making beds, cleaning entire bathrooms, dusting and vacuuming, cleaning of tables and chairs, etc.
• Change and replenish bed linens, towels and guest amenities, as needed
• Perform deep cleaning tasks, as needed
• Stock, clean, maintain and transport housekeeping supply cart on a daily basis
• Dispose of trash and recyclables
• Respond to special guest requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
