Job Summary
- Performs overall cleaning and maintains appearance of facility including guestrooms and public areas.
General Accountabilities
- Begins and ends shift as scheduled and arrives in full uniform, adheres to dress code standards and demonstrates a high level of professionalism
- Cleans rooms within brand/company specific standards and within company minutes per room standard. Rooms include guestroom bathrooms include but are not limited to, making beds, emptying trash, moving furniture, dusting, vacuuming, cleaning toilets, bathtubs, sinks, floors, coffee makers, micro/fridge, closets, windows, ceiling etc.
- Cleans rooms as assigned on a daily business and commits to quality and re-cleans or fixes and issues as pointed out though the room inspection process
- Ensures all brand/company standards are in place, bed made correctly, proper placement of items/collateral etc.
- Cleans as directed by way of mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal. Completes special tasks assigned by managements including general cleans and deep cleans which may include carpet cleaning, upholstery cleaning, moving and cleaning under beds etc.
- Keeps public access areas clean and maintains them according to employer standards.
- Monitors and reports on the inventory of cleaning supplies. Maintains the housekeeping storage room in a neat and organized fashion as well as cleaning carts.
- Reports any maintenance concerns or repairs to the appropriate personnel.
- Provides assistance to maintenance staff and other staff members as needed.
- Represents the Company in a professional manner at all times.
- Performs other related duties as assigned or requested.
- Wash and dry laundry; changes laundry between machines; sorts, counts, folds and carries laundry
- Is a team player, contributes ideas and fosters team work; Takes initiative and asks/offers help when needed; Is dependable, follows direction of management and completes assigned duties on time
- Takes all waste to dumpster at the end of shift or as needed throughout the day
- Shows respect for cultural differences and promotes a harassment free work environment
- Responds to needs of customer to best of ability; adapts to change and unexpected events.
- Utilizes effective time management through prioritizing work and completes the required quantity of work as outlined by management
- Able to read and understand simple instructions and memos, ability to write short correspondences
Job Qualifications
- Minimum Education: No formal education required
- Minimum Experience: 0 - 3 months
- Minimum Field-of-Expertise: Knowledge of cleaning products and supplies
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
