Duties
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes and customer preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized bar area, ensuring all tools and equipment are sanitized.
- Engage with customers to provide excellent hospitality, taking orders, answering questions, and making recommendations.
- Manage cash register operations, including processing payments accurately and efficiently.
- Monitor inventory levels of liquor, mixers, garnishes, and other supplies; assist with ordering as needed.
- Adhere to all safety and health regulations while serving drinks responsibly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff during busy periods to ensure timely service for banquets or special events.
- Utilize time management skills to handle multiple orders simultaneously while maintaining quality service.
Requirements
- Previous experience in the food industry is preferred; experience in banquet or nightclub settings is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to efficiently handle high-volume service periods.
- Basic math skills for cash register operations and inventory management.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on hospitality and customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends as required by business needs.
- Familiarity with retail math concepts is beneficial for managing inventory and sales transactions.
