Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes.
- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests and ensuring their satisfaction.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including equipment and supplies.
- Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently using the cash register.
- Monitor guest consumption of alcohol responsibly and adhere to all legal regulations.
- Assist in inventory management by tracking stock levels and placing orders as needed.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff for banquet services or special events when required.
- Promote drink specials and upsell menu items to enhance sales.
Qualifications
- Previous experience as a bartender in a hospitality setting is required.
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and beverage preparation techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer service.
- Ability to perform basic math calculations for cash handling and transactions.
- Familiarity with POS systems, particularly Aloha POS, is a plus.
- Experience in banquet service or nightclub environments is beneficial but not required.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
