Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Breakfast Attendant to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest services during breakfast hours, ensuring a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for all guests. You will assist in the setup, presentation, and replenishment of the breakfast buffet while maintaining high standards of food safety and cleanliness.
Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the breakfast area, including food stations and dining tables.
- Ensure that all food items are fresh, properly displayed, and replenished as needed throughout service hours.
- Provide excellent guest services by greeting guests warmly and assisting them with their needs.
- Operate cash registers for any transactions related to breakfast services.
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and sanitation standards at all times.
- Assist with cleaning duties after breakfast service, including clearing tables and washing dishes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of food items.
- Utilize systems such as OpenTable or Aloha POS as needed for guest management.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in hospitality or restaurant settings is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of food safety practices and procedures.
- Excellent guest service skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Familiarity with cash registers and basic cash handling procedures is a plus.
- Experience in banquet service or food service operations is desirable.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
