Weekend Laundry Attendant

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and presentation of linens and garments within our facility. This position is essential in ensuring that all items are laundered, pressed, and presented to the highest standards, contributing to an exceptional experience for our guests.

Duties

• Operate washing machines and dryers to launder hotel linens, towels, and garments.
• Sort, wash, dry, and fold laundry according to established procedures.
• Perform dry cleaning tasks as needed, ensuring garments are treated with care.
• Inspect items for stains or damage prior to laundering and report any issues.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the laundry area, adhering to safety standards.
• Ensure proper handling of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Collaborate with housekeeping staff to meet laundry demands efficiently.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a laundry or housekeeping role is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with dry cleaning processes is a plus.
• Ability to operate laundry equipment safely and effectively.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage time effectively.
• Must be able to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
• A positive attitude and willingness to work as part of a team.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $13.44 - $14.10 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 24 per week
