Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Food & Beverage Manager to lead our F& B team at the Holiday Inn Canton, located in the heart of Belden Village. Our hotel features the Twenty/20 Taphouse restaurant and bar and also includes 9,000 square feet of banquet event space. This position is responsible for ensuring exceptional guest experiences through effective management of food and beverage services, including banquet operations, food production, and bartending. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, particularly within hotel or restaurant settings, and possess excellent supervisory and leadership skills.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily operations of food and beverage services to ensure high standards of quality and service.
- Supervise staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations.
- Oversee banquet services, ensuring all events are executed flawlessly.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and presentation.
- Maintain inventory control and manage ordering processes for food and beverage supplies.
- Implement and enforce health and safety regulations within the food service area.
- Utilize POS systems for tracking sales and managing transactions.
- Develop menus in collaboration with chefs that meet customer preferences while adhering to budgetary constraints.
- Address guest inquiries and complaints promptly to ensure satisfaction.
Skills
- Proven experience in the food industry, particularly in hotel or restaurant environments.
- Strong supervisory skills with the ability to lead a diverse team effectively.
- Knowledge of banquet operations and event planning.
- Familiarity with food service protocols and best practices in food production.
- Bartending experience is a plus, with knowledge of drink preparation techniques.
