We are seeking outstanding individuals to join our housekeeping team at the Holiday Inn Canton. Located in Belden Village, we feature 184 newly remodeled guest rooms, our restaurant Twenty/20 Taphouse, indoor pool and event space. Responsibilities
- Maintain organized and clean work area and carts
- Interact with guest and other team members in a positive and professional manner
- Adhere to all safety, security and company policies
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas to maintain a high standard of hospitality.
- Manage floor care, including sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to ensure cleanliness.
- Utilize time management skills to prioritize daily tasks efficiently.
- Handle janitorial and custodial duties, ensuring all areas are well-maintained.
- Collaborate with housekeeping management to uphold quality standards and address any guest needs promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in housekeeping or janitorial roles, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting
- Strong cleaning and floor care skills
- Ability to manage time effectively to ensure tasks are completed efficiently
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning techniques and custodial management
- Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards
