About the Role:

We are seeking a Guest Services Representative to join our team at the Holiday Inn Central Washington, DC. As a Guest Services Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to our guests, ensuring their stay is comfortable and enjoyable. You will be the first point of contact for guests, handling inquiries, and resolving any issues that may arise. Your main goal will be to create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere for our guests, ensuring they have a memorable experience at our hotel.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1 years of experience in a customer service role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and other computer systems

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in the hospitality industry
• Fluency in a second language
• Experience with hotel reservation systems

Responsibilities:

• Greet guests upon arrival and check them in, ensuring all necessary information is obtained and entered into the system accurately
• Answer guest inquiries and provide information about hotel amenities, services, and local attractions
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a timely and professional manner
• Assist guests with luggage and other requests as needed
• Maintain a clean and organized front desk area
