Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Banquet Cook, located in Chicago, IL. The Banquet Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for banquets, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste. Daily tasks include following recipes, coordinating with the banquet team, maintaining cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, and adhering to food safety standards. The Banquet Cook will also assist in menu planning and inventory management.
Qualifications
- Experience in food preparation and cooking techniques
- Knowledge of recipe and menu planning
- Ability to maintain kitchen cleanliness and organization
- Understanding of food safety and sanitation standards
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Previous experience in a banquet or catering setting is a plus
