Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Person to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance. This role involves performing a variety of maintenance tasks to ensure the functionality and safety of our facilities. The Maintenance Person will work independently and as part of a team, providing excellent customer service while maintaining high standards of quality.

Duties

• Conduct routine inspections and maintenance of facilities to ensure optimal performance.
• Perform electrical repairs and installations, including troubleshooting electrical systems.
• Utilize schematics to diagnose issues and implement effective solutions.
• Fabricate parts as needed for repairs or improvements.
• Operate tools such as an Ohmmeter for testing electrical circuits.
• Supervise maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and quality standards.
• Carry out residential painting tasks to maintain aesthetic appeal.
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing tenant or client concerns promptly and effectively.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs performed and materials used.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot various systems.
• Familiarity with welding techniques is a plus.
• Experience reading and interpreting schematics for electrical systems.
• Ability to fabricate parts or components as required.
• Proficiency in using tools such as an Ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics.
• Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead small teams effectively.
• Strong customer service skills, ensuring positive interactions with clients and tenants.
• Previous experience in residential painting is preferred.
