Duties
- Oversee daily housekeeping operations to ensure cleanliness and orderliness in guest rooms, public areas, and back-of-house spaces.
- Train, mentor, and supervise housekeeping staff, ensuring adherence to company standards and procedures.
- Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to maintain quality control and identify areas for improvement.
- Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, placing orders as necessary to maintain adequate stock levels.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and address any guest concerns promptly.
- Implement best practices in floor care, custodial duties, and industrial cleaning techniques to enhance overall service quality.
- Maintain records of housekeeping activities, including staff schedules, maintenance requests, and guest feedback.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory role within the hotel or hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of housekeeping management principles and practices.
- Familiarity with custodial tasks and industrial cleaning methods is advantageous.
