Key Responsibilities
- Overnight Guest Services: Manage late arrivals and early departures, ensuring each guest feels welcome and well-informed.
- Accounting & Reporting: Reconcile the day’s financial transactions, including room charges, credit card settlements, and other revenue streams.
- Audit & Verification: Prepare and distribute daily reports, verify the accuracy of guest accounts, and correct any discrepancies.
- Safety & Security: Monitor property activity during overnight hours, addressing any issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Brand Standards: Follow IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) policies to maintain consistency and compliance.
- Guest Assistance: Provide information about hotel services and local attractions, handle special requests, and promptly resolve any guest concerns.
Qualifications
- Experience: Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or front desk roles is preferred, but we are open to training motivated candidates.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with computers and hotel property management systems is a plus.
- Attention to Detail: Strong numerical and organizational skills to accurately balance reports and handle cash.
- Overnight Availability: Ability to work overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal skills for clear interactions with guests and team members.
- Dependability: Consistent attendance and punctuality are essential for this position.
