Key Responsibilities
- Guest Experience: Greet guests warmly, present menus, and answer questions about menu items, daily specials, and beverages.
- Order Accuracy: Efficiently record orders, relay them to the kitchen, and ensure timely, accurate meal delivery.
- Upselling & Suggestive Selling: Recommend additional items (e.g., appetizers, desserts, special beverages) to enhance the dining experience.
- Cleanliness & Organization: Maintain a tidy dining area, promptly clear tables, and reset for the next guests.
- Collaboration: Work closely with kitchen staff and fellow servers to deliver a seamless dining service.
- Payment Handling: Accurately manage guest checks, process payments, and handle cash or card transactions.
- Brand Standards: Adhere to IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) guidelines for service quality, presentation, and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications
- Customer Service Experience: Prior serving or hospitality experience is preferred, but we welcome individuals eager to learn and grow.
- Communication Skills: Friendly and professional demeanor, able to interact effectively with a diverse range of guests.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to remember orders, recommend menu items, and handle special requests.
