Holiday Inn Express Moline is looking for a Front Desk Supervisor to join their team!
The ideal candidate must have previous customer service experience, and will be responsible for working closely with the Front Desk Manager to oversee all aspects of the front desk operations. Candidate must also have availability to work 3rd shift 11pm-8am occasionally as needed. Located by the Quad City International Airport.
- Performs all functions of guest service agents while handling daily operations and supervising front desk functions.
- Communicates and works with housekeeping to ensure rooms are clean and prepared to company standards.
- Monitors the status of rooms and confers with Rooms Manager/Hotel Manager to maximize daily room revenue.
- Responsible for training and developing new GSA employees, teaching and enforcing all existing new policy and procedures. Responsible for staff scheduling/coverage and support. Supervises and delegates front desk responsibilities and provides follow-up. Monitors front office communications, morale and motivation.
- Responsible for preparing and training GSAs on daily deposits and change orders for courier. Oversees daily cash overage and shortages, verifies change box balance daily and investigates variances; communicating with manager.
- Performs other duties as may be required within own department or for other departments.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- High School diploma or GED required, advanced degree in hospitality related field preferred.
- Previous hotel experience desired.
- Previous hotel supervisor experience supervising others desired.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends and/or holidays.
