Responsibilities
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area prior to service, ensuring all food items are fresh and appealing.
- Maintain cleanliness of the breakfast area, including tables, utensils, and serving stations.
- Monitor food supplies and replenish items as necessary throughout the breakfast service.
- Assist guests with their dining needs, providing excellent customer service and addressing any inquiries or concerns.
- Follow all food safety guidelines and regulations to ensure safe handling of food products.
- Perform bussing duties by clearing tables promptly and efficiently after guests have finished their meals.
- Handle cash transactions accurately when required, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed.
- Collaborate with catering staff for any special events or banquets that may require additional support during breakfast service.
Experience
- Previous experience in food service or hospitality is preferred but not required.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and food safety regulations is essential.
- Experience in catering or banquet settings is a plus.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with guests and team members.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Basic knife skills for food preparation tasks are beneficial but not mandatory.
