Housekeeping Attendant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for cleanliness and hospitality, ensuring that all areas are maintained to the highest standards. This role is essential in providing a welcoming and comfortable environment for our guests or residents.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in guest rooms, hallways, and common areas.
• Ensure all bathrooms are sanitized and stocked with necessary supplies.
• Change bed linens and towels regularly while adhering to established protocols for laundry care.
• Conduct floor care duties such as stripping, waxing, and buffing as needed.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
• Assist in the organization of housekeeping supplies and equipment to ensure efficient workflow.
• Uphold high standards of cleanliness and presentation in accordance with company policies and procedures.

Requirements

• Previous experience in hospitality or hotel housekeeping is preferred but not mandatory.
• Familiarity with custodial practices and industrial cleaning techniques is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
• Excellent time management skills to efficiently complete tasks within designated timeframes.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Good physical stamina; ability to stand for long periods and lift moderate weights as required.
• Knowledge of housekeeping management principles is advantageous but not required.
