What are the responsibilities and job description for the Night Auditor position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites- Latham?
The Holiday Inn Express & Suites in Latham has an immediate opening for a full-time Front Desk Night Auditor!
As the Night Auditor, you are responsible for overseeing the auditing, posting and balancing of daily transactions to support the hotel's continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service. Specifically, you would be responsible for performing the following tasks to the highest standards:
- Perform guest services functions as required (i.e. check guests in/out, take reservations, we-up calls, guest requests, etc.)
- Audit and reconcile PMS reports
- Audit and reconcile all Front Desk and Gift Shop paperwork
- Audit, reconcile, and transmit all credit cards daily
- Ensure accuracy of all numbers being reported
- Ensure overall guest satisfaction
- Prepare and email reports to corporate office daily
- Performs any other duties as requested by your supervisor/manager
- Maintains and promotes a positive and cooperative work relationship with all hotel departments.
Requirements:
- Prior guest service or related experience in the hotel industry is a must.
- Must have a flexible schedule with weekend availability and reliable transportation.
- Opera and IHG brand experience are highly preferred, but not required!
