Responsibilities
- Set up and maintain the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization at all times.
- Prepare and present breakfast items according to established standards.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing excellent customer service and addressing any dietary needs or preferences.
- Monitor food inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure compliance with food handling and safety regulations.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness, including utensils and serving dishes.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to coordinate food preparation and service.
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a culinary or food service role is preferred, including knowledge of banquet service.
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on helping guests enjoy their dining experience.
- Familiarity with food handling practices and dietary considerations is a plus.
- Excellent phone etiquette for any guest inquiries or reservations made via phone or OpenTable.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team setting.
- A passion for cooking and culinary arts is highly desirable.
