Duties
- Prepare and set up the breakfast area, ensuring cleanliness and organization.
- Cook and present breakfast items, including hot and cold dishes, in accordance with established recipes and standards.
- Maintain food safety and sanitation standards throughout the preparation and serving process.
- Assist guests with their breakfast selections, providing recommendations and addressing any dietary needs or preferences.
- Monitor inventory levels of food items and supplies, restocking as necessary to ensure availability.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently, including ovens, grills, and food warmers.
- Handle guest inquiries and feedback with professionalism, ensuring a positive dining experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely meal preparation and service.
Skills
- Strong background in food service or hospitality, preferably in a restaurant or catering environment.
- Experience with meal preparation techniques and knowledge of dietary requirements is highly desirable.
- Proficient in kitchen operations, including meat cutting and POS systems.
- Excellent guest relations skills with the ability to communicate effectively and courteously.
- Ability to work efficiently in a team-oriented environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities during busy service periods.
