What are the responsibilities and job description for the Breakfast Attendant position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites?
Breakfast Attendant is responsible for the preparation and serving of brand approved breakfast items, interaction with hotel guests, maintaining a clean and safe environment, and for maintaining accurate inventory counts of all food and beverage items in a continuing effort to deliver outstanding guest service and financial profitability.
Expected Duties:
- Prepare all food according to cooking instructions and brand cookbook
- Greet guests in a timely and friendly manner
- Assist guests with questions and needs while in the breakfast area
- Maintain inventory/available item levels when serving breakfast to hotel guests
- Sanitize high-touch areas in dining area such as dispensers, shared condiment bottles, tray handles, refrigerator doors, machine buttons, etc.
- Maintain food safety by wearing gloves when handling all food items
- Stock, maintain, and keep inventory of all freezer, refrigerator, and dry stock food items on a daily basis
- Dispose of trash and recyclables
- Interact with guests and respond to requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner
- Maintain cleanliness of pantry, kitchen, serving area, and dining area
- Properly operate and maintain kitchenware appliances according to manufacturer’s guideline
- Assist with cleaning public areas including but not limited to, elevators, corridors, public restrooms, fitness center, business center, lobby in team effort to provide clean and safe areas for our guests
- Report kitchen/breakfast area maintenance issues to management
- Assist in unloading food deliveries and labeling items with proper dates and times to ensure proper product rotation
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $9.00 - $12.00 per hour
