What are the responsibilities and job description for the Front Desk Agent position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites?
We are looking for both full-time and part-time Hotel front desk agents. The hotel front desk agent is responsible for registering and managing reservations and providing information about rooms, rates and amenities. This position also includes taking and executing any and all guest request upon arrival or during their stay. Handling of cash and credit cards is also a part of this position.
Job Responsibilities :
- probably provide accurate information regarding availability, combination types, transportation to and from hotel, rate, Etc.
- Promotes the hotel marketing programs.
- Assigns reservations based on guest preferences and availability.
- Answers questions regarding Hotel facilities and services, local attractions, and directions.
- Handles complaints in a tactful Manner and negotiates resolutions.
Requirements :
- Opera experience preferred but not required.
- Some knowledge of computers preferred but not required.
- Ability to multitask and maintain Poise and a sense of humor amidst a fast-paced and demanding environment.
- Required and must have open availability, weekends and holidays.
- Standing and walking 8 hour shifts.
- Must be able to represent the company in a professional, well-groomed and courteous manner.
