Job Summary:
We are seeking a friendly and professional Front Desk Agent to join our team. As the first point of contact for our guests, you will play a crucial role in ensuring their satisfaction and providing exceptional customer service. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in hospitality management and possess excellent communication skills.
Duties:
- Greet guests warmly and provide them with information about the hotel and its amenities
- Check guests in and out of their rooms, ensuring accuracy in reservations and payment details
- Handle guest inquiries, requests, and complaints promptly and professionally
- Assist guests with transportation arrangements, and other concierge services
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area, including the lobby and reception area
- Operate phone systems, answering calls and transferring them to the appropriate department or guest room
- Perform night audit duties as needed, including reconciling accounts and preparing reports
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a hotel or hospitality setting is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in using phone systems and other office equipment
- Knowledge of hotel management software is a plus (Opera)
- Ability to handle difficult situations with patience and professionalism
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively
