What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full Time Guest Services Representative (3-11 PM) position at Holiday Inn Express and Suites?
The Holiday Inn Express and Suites is looking to add a second Guest Services Representative to its team! The shift is 3PM to 11PM with weekend availability required. We're looking for someone who is friendly, engaging, likes to talk about stupid things with co workers and laugh and be fun to work with. Responsibilities and duties include, but are not limited to, greeting and assisting guests with check-ins and helping them have an enjoyable stay, answering the phone and taking reservations, general hotel stuff basically you could probably guess everything you've got to do. Punctuality and reliability are key. Super duper key. The super duperest of key. Other than the typical boring job stuff I could rattle on about, basically how the 3-11 works is you get start at 3PM and you take a look at how many arrivals there are for the night, get your area all set up, and then you just talk with the other 3-11 representative about turtles and movies and music or whatever you want really, then you assist a guest, then you get back to talking about books or current events or whatever. There's one report you do at around eight that literally takes five minutes to complete, then you do the same thing you've been doing, and then at the end you've got another five minute report and then you go home. Requirements for the job include a smiling face, a knack for service and hospitality and above all reliability and punctuality. No experience in hotels is necessary as long as you show up when you're supposed to and want to join a fun, inviting and also funny work environment.
