Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced General Manager to oversee the operations of our restaurant. As the General Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of all aspects of the establishment, including customer service, kitchen management, and staff supervision. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food and hospitality industry, with a passion for delivering exceptional service.
Duties:
- Manage day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery
- Oversee kitchen operations, including food preparation, inventory management, and adherence to safety and sanitation standards
- Train and supervise staff members, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality service
- Monitor customer satisfaction levels and address any issues or concerns promptly
- Implement strategies to increase sales and revenue, including marketing initiatives and menu development
- Maintain financial records and budgets, ensuring profitability and cost control measures are in place
- Collaborate with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services
- Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to continuously improve operations
Experience:
- Proven experience as a General Manager or similar role in the food/hospitality industry
- Strong knowledge of food handling regulations and safety standards
- Excellent customer service skills with a focus on creating a positive dining experience
- Proficiency in Aloha POS or similar restaurant management software
- Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team
- Solid understanding of kitchen management principles
- Previous experience in coffee shops or hotels is a plus
