Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Houseman to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our hotel, ensuring that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for hospitality.
Duties
- Clean and sanitize guest public restrooms
- Dust and polish furniture, fixtures, and public surfaces to maintain a pristine environment.
- Vacuum carpets and perform floor care duties as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Clean and maintain parking lot of trash and debri.
- Take out trash to dumpster in public areas.
- Stock pool towels and fitness room towels.
- Clean elevators and stairwells.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when stock is low.
- Uphold high standards of cleanliness in accordance with hotel policies and procedures.
Skills
- Proven experience in housekeeping or custodial roles within the hospitality industry is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and supplies used in industrial cleaning.
- Familiarity with housekeeping management practices in a hotel setting is an advantage.
- Excellent attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under pressure.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team environment.
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
