As a Housekeeper at Holiday Inn Express, you will ensure that guest rooms and public areas are clean, tidy, and well-maintained, contributing to a comfortable and enjoyable stay for our guests. Your role is essential in maintaining high standards of cleanliness, providing excellent guest service, and contributing to the hotel's reputation for quality and comfort.
Key Responsibilities:
Guest Room Cleaning:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms according to hotel standards.
- Make beds, change linens, and replace towels and toiletries.
- Dust and wipe down all surfaces, including furniture and fixtures.
- Vacuum carpets and clean floors as needed.
- Restock guest room supplies, such as coffee, tea, and amenities.
Public Area Maintenance:
- Clean and maintain public areas including lobbies, hallways, elevators, and restrooms, ensuring a welcoming and clean environment for guests.
Inventory Management:
- Monitor and manage the inventory of cleaning supplies and linens.
- Report any shortages or needs to the supervisor.
Safety and Compliance:
- Follow all safety and sanitation procedures in accordance with hotel standards.
- Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or damages to the maintenance department promptly.
Guest Service:
- Address guest requests and concerns with professionalism and courtesy.
- Provide exceptional service to enhance the guest experience and ensure satisfaction.
Teamwork:
- Collaborate with other housekeeping team members and hotel staff to meet daily cleaning goals and guest expectations.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in housekeeping or a related role is preferred but not required.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.
- Good communication skills and a positive, customer-oriented attitude.
- Ability to handle physical tasks, including lifting and moving items.
Working Conditions:
