We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our hotel, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team. Weekend availability is MANDATORY!
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, common areas, and facilities according to established standards.
- Dust, vacuum, sweep, and mop floors; clean windows, mirrors, and other surfaces.
- Change bed linens and towels; restock supplies as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained and stored.
- Follow all health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist in special cleaning projects as assigned by housekeeping management.
- Provide exceptional customer service by responding promptly to guest requests.
Requirements
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping, custodial services, or industrial cleaning is preferred.
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and floor care techniques is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain high cleanliness standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- A positive attitude and commitment to providing excellent service.
