The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Elizabethtown North, is hiring for a Part-Time House Attendant/Hotel Porter. The hours vary and open availability is a must at this time.
Duties and responsibilities
- Operates equipment as needed in order to maintain cleanliness of property, including vacuums, shampooers, buffer etc.
- Removes debris / garbage / dirt from all commons areas (corridors, public restrooms, vending areas, guest laundry, pool area, fitness center, boardrooms, conference rooms, breakfast area and back offices)
- Empties all exterior trash cans, ashtrays and all sanitary receptacles.
- Vacuums, sweeps, polish and mop floors.
- Straightens furniture.
- Dusts and removes fingerprints from all surfaces.
- Polishes windows, glass doors, brass/metal, mirrors and bright work.
- Cleans and disinfects counter tops, and sinks.
- Cleans appliances, inside and out.
- Restocks towel, toilet paper and soap dispensers.
- Sanitizes all bathroom bowls, sinks, partitions and urinals on a daily basis.
- Wipes down and disinfecting fitness equipment.
- Cleans patio area
- Maintains pool deck and straightens store rooms
- Straights and washes pool deck furniture.
- Creates necessary work orders.
- Maintains supply inventory
- Advises supervisor of any issues.
- Maintains a pristine facility.
- Maintains a safe and secure environment throughout the building. Ensures all safety precautions are followed while performing duties.
- Assist in laundry room with washing/drying, folding, and stocking shelves of linen.
- Assist front desk staff with taking items to guest rooms as requested.
- Assist other employees by running their errands such as moving stock and delivering items when necessary.
- Assist front desk staff with cleaning rooms as needed.
- Conduct self in a friendly and attentive manner during all guest encounters.Any other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor.
House Attendant/Hotel Porter individuals are responsible for ensuring that all areas of the hotel are kept properly stocked with toiletries and/or linens, as well as cleanliness of the hotel.
